The Emergence of Homosexuality and Same-Sex Marriages

There was a time when homosexuality was not as public as it has become now.  At one time, it was viewed as shameful and grave sexual misconduct.  This behavior was often kept hidden, and kept in the closet, so to speak, by those engaged in this type of lifestyle.  However, now homosexuality and elesbianism has become up close, and personal.  Furthermore, it is a controversial issue that has been flooding the headlines, and regrettably this type of lifestyle has touched the holy institution of MARRIAGE.

In recent years, states in America has been legislating and performing wedding ceremonies for gays and lesbians, which is widely known today as same-sex marriages.  So why is this happening and becoming prevalent in a once Christian America?  It is because homosexuality is no longer regarded and viewed by a multitude of people, such as the president, federal judges, secular as well as some Christian denominations, as to what it truly is and that is a SIN.  This is what can be labeled ladies and gentlemen as religious tolerance or indifference and it is only continuing to spread as many toss up their hands in willful compromise.

A classic example of compromise, I believe can be seen when a popular Christian owned ebusiness known as eHarmony, underwent a legal battle against a New Jersey man who accused the company back in 2008 of discrimination for not including and matching same-sex partners. Consequently, eHarmony, which was launched in 2000 and widely recognized and heralded as the No.1 Trusted Relationship Service Provider, decided to settle and end the legal battle, and as of today likewise provides gay dating services.  While some may call the allowance and acceptance of same-sex unions as progression, I can only classify it as a moral regression by which the Lord will once again have to judge the world.

America: A Modern Day Sodom and Gomorrah

America has become a modern day version or even a replication of the two wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.  And God who is "beholding the evil and the good" is steadfastly looking at the gross wickedness and evil intentions of a multitude of people today, especially leaders such as Presidents and judges who have, and are bent on continuing to legislate into law that which is evil, such as abortion and as of late same-sex marriages. Thus, America most definitely resembles Sodom and Gomorrah and here are just a few ways through comparison and contrast.

The Book of Yasher, which is an ancient book discovered in the 1800's reads in Chapter 19, Verses 1 and 3 that "the cities of Sodom had four judges to four cities...And by desire of their four judges the people of Sodom and Gomorrah had beds erected in the streets of the cities, and if a man came to these places they laid hold of him and brought him to one of their beds, and by force made him to lie in them." It is apparent that the streets became the playground for the sex crazed Sodomites, and it would appear that it was acceptable by those in authority, such as the unrighteous judges of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Likewise, our President and judges today are tolerant and accepting of such unrighteous behavior. (See Holy Bible regarding references to The Book of Yasher in Joshua 10:13, 2 Samuel 1:18).

The Judges of America
In ancient times, there was never an effort made to legalize or morally legitimize homosexual unions or legislate into law same-sex marriages, like there presently is today.  Perhaps, it was due in part to the fact that even the heathen nations feared the One true God, and this is most definitely lacking in our nation and the world. 

Increasing Wickedness Running Rampant Throughout the Earth

All kinds of violence has currently been sweeping across cities, states, and countries everywhere.  In the entire world there is apparent CHAOS as news reports cover senseless crimes and increasing bloodshed, such as the attempted overthrow of tyrannical leaders in Libya and Egypt.  Why? There is absolutely NO regard for human and innocent life, because there is NO regard for God our Creator.  Even now, we live with the constant threat of terrorism on a daily and ongoing basis, which is not new by the way.  It was something that the antediluvians also had to face, and another reason that the earth inevitably had to be destroyed (Genesis 6:5-7,11-22; Genesis 7; Genesis 17).

Sexual Immorality
Sexual immorality and infidelity has definitely been on the upswing, and you DO NOT have to look as far as Hollywood to see this to be true.  This was also a major sin that the two wicked cities were involved in.  However, again one of the "abominable" sins of Sodom and Gomorrah was that of homosexuality.  Like the judges who also passed a law that involved the erecting of beds in the streets of those cities in order to facilitate the homosexual practices, likewise America's judges are attempting to facilitate homosexuality and gay unions, by passing into laws to legalize same-sex unions, which is in direct opposition to God's divine law.

Finally, Marriage is a holy institution established by God and is NOT to be tampered with. The Bible clearly and explicitly warns that what "God has joined together, let NO one separate or divide."  When mankind violates and tampers with God's created order of male and female, by exploring a same gendered relationship, the result is category confusion, with one partner of such unions being mascularized and the other feminized in every instance.

Yet, in spite of this America has likewise and selectively chosen the path of the antediluvians of Noah's and Sodom and Gomorrah's day, whose end was DESTRUCTION when God destroyed the earth with a global and world-wide flood as well as burnt the cities of the plain, Sodom and Gomorrah, to the ground (Genesis Chapter 7; Genesis 18:20-33; Genesis Chapter 19) . And once again America and the world by an large has made itself ripe for His divine and, yes, impending judgment.

The Righteous Judge Declares Same-Sex Marriages Unconstitutional

In the news as of late, we have heard how several federal judges, particularly the ruling by Federal Judge Joseph Tauro of Boston's First Circuit Court, declared DOMA as being "unconstitutional."  READ HERE Judge Tauro's blasphemous remarks.  Likewise, in February of this 2011 year, we learned of our leader and chief, President Obama's and the Federal government's recent decision to no longer defend or support DOMA which we will address fully in another post.

The Obama administration can also go on record as labeling and proclaiming this 1996 law, designed for the sole purpose of preserving, protecting, and defending traditional and biblical marriage, as likewise being "unconsitutional." READ HERE Attorney General Eric Holder's puppet statement. Furthemore, there are over a dozen other sources that can be cited. So what is the problem here with America and the world by and large?  SIN! 

UNCONSTITUTIONAL!

This nation and the world has fast been taking on the appearance and resemblance of the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah, by condoning that which the Righteous Judge of all the earth has already condemned, by attempting to overthrow this sacred institution, MARRIAGE, established NOT by man, but only by the Creator. Thus, God has decreed by His own Everlasting Laws Same-Sex Marriages and unions as "UNCONSTITUTIONAL!"

So whose laws do you think will take precedence and prevail in the FINAL scheme of things? God's or Man's? The answer is quite obvious and should be apparent to all who have ears to listen as well as hearts to receive.  See the only outcome for those continuing along this course, whether by attempting to legislate into the laws of this land (i.e. federal judges, the United States President, Senate and Congress, etc.) or whether through active participation and engagement in this type of lifestyle and behavior, thereby, denying the TRUTH (i.e. homosexuals, lesbians, etc.), is an OVERTHROW by God. 

The Righteous Judge, Jesus Christ, will inevitably allow the fires of His wrath to burn as He pours forth His divine judgment against gross sin and wickedness of all kinds, and much like He did with those two wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Why? Because, the laws and ordinances of God have already established and fitted the sexes together, as well as having defined marriage as that of being between one man and one woman, and anything in opposition to the will of God is SIN.  Same-sex marriages or unions, the Righteous Judge has already revealed and declared as "UNCONSTITUTIONAL" by His standards and as outlined in The Consitution of His Word, The Holy Bible (See Genesis 1:27, 2:18, 22-24; Leviticus 18:22, 20:13; Matthew 19:4-6; Romans 1:26-27 to name just a few).
