Respect For Marriage Act is to Respect Sin

The Respect For Marriage Act does not truly hold or have a respect for the institution of marriage as its name appears to suggest, and in this post you will discover why.  First of all, what is it and where is it originating from?

This 'would be law' is being proposed, and sponsored by a Senator in California, Dianne Feinstein.  Furthermore, what The Respect For Marriage Act is hoping to legislate into law, if able to successfully repeal DOMA through Congress, is that "same-sex couples - if married in a state that recognizes their unions - would be eligible for federal benefits such as Social Security and survivor benefits, etc."

While the proposal of this law may appear to sound noble and for the benefit of the underdog, and that is the gay, lesbian, and homosexual community and their recognition by federal law of same-sex marriages or unions, it really is NOT.

First of all, The Respect For Marriage Act has NO respect for God, because it has no respect for biblical and traditional marriage as declared, instituted, and set forth in the Constitution of His Word by Him---THE HOLY BIBLE and, thus, in its efforts to legislate this apparent law upon repealing DOMA, proves to only demonstrate and legitimize a respect of willful sin (i.e. homosexuality) by mankind.

Regrettably, 15 years since passing the DOMA LAW, peoples beliefs and values has likewise been on a moral and spiritual decline.  And if the Pew Poll is accurate - 45% of adults now support same-sex marriages while 46% oppose it.  However, what this suggests is NOT any type of advancement in our society, but rather a digression, as multitudes of people have allowed themselves to become tolerant of what the Bible clearly categorizes as SIN, and furthermore CONDEMNS, likewise compromising God's truth.

Finally, supporting The Respect For Marriage Act or any type of immoral or ungodly behavior of any kind is to likewise respect and promote what has been biblically classified as sin, and will prove in the end to not be for the overall good of humankind, but rather to its ultimate detriment.

President Obama Just Says No To DOMA

Photograph by Zimbio
President Barack Obama has just said NO to DOMA.  In February of this year our U.S. leader finally took off the DOMA Mask that he has been masquarding behind since entering the White House. Revealing his true thoughts and intentions where DOMA is concerned, Obama has declared and asserted it to be "unconstitutional."

Whereas many may think President Obama has suddenly done an about face where this 1996 federal law is concerned, we beg to differ.  In our opinion, we believe that the President has known since entering office that he had NO real intention of allowing the federal government to continue in its efforts of re-enforcing and backing DOMA. Thus, this law no longer has his or the federal government's full support or allegiance and furthermore, it was inevitable and only a matter of time before he would finally stop the charade altogether.

Several sources have cited the President as saying "he was still grappling with the issue...his feelings were still evolving." Yet, Obama did not appear to be grappling with the issue when campaigning and running for office when listening to his so-called eloquent speeches.  Maybe, he had not read Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act at that time.  Regardless, the President has definitely had a paradigm shift.

Consequently, it would be wise for the people of America to heed these words from the Holy Bible, and that is "a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways" and maybe it is high time the American people stop grappling with the issue on whether to re-elect him as president or not.  After all, President Obama promised CHANGE and we've seen the negative effects and consequences of it, and you can bet there is more on the near horizon too, especially with him behind the helm.

The Righteous Judge Declares Same-Sex Marriages Unconstitutional

In the news as of late, we have heard how several federal judges, particularly the ruling by Federal Judge Joseph Tauro of Boston's First Circuit Court, declared DOMA as being "unconstitutional."  READ HERE Judge Tauro's blasphemous remarks.  Likewise, in February of this 2011 year, we learned of our leader and chief, President Obama's and the Federal government's recent decision to no longer defend or support DOMA which we will address fully in another post.

The Obama administration can also go on record as labeling and proclaiming this 1996 law, designed for the sole purpose of preserving, protecting, and defending traditional and biblical marriage, as likewise being "unconsitutional." READ HERE Attorney General Eric Holder's puppet statement. Furthemore, there are over a dozen other sources that can be cited. So what is the problem here with America and the world by and large?  SIN!

UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
This nation and the world has fast been taking on the appearance and resemblance of the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah, by condoning that which the Righteous Judge of all the earth has already condemned, by attempting to overthrow this sacred institution, MARRIAGE, established NOT by man, but only by the Creator. Thus, God has decreed by His own Everlasting Laws Same-Sex Marriages and unions as "UNCONSTITUTIONAL!"

So whose laws do you think will take precedence and prevail in the FINAL scheme of things? God's or Man's? The answer is quite obvious and should be apparent to all who have ears to listen as well as hearts to receive.  See the only outcome for those continuing along this course, whether by attempting to legislate into the laws of this land (i.e. federal judges, the United States President, Senate and Congress, etc.) or whether through active participation and engagement in this type of lifestyle and behavior, thereby, denying the TRUTH (i.e. homosexuals, lesbians, etc.), is an OVERTHROW by God.

The Righteous Judge, Jesus Christ, will inevitably allow the fires of His wrath to burn as He pours forth His divine judgment against gross sin and wickedness of all kinds, and much like He did with those two wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Why? Because, the laws and ordinances of God have already established and fitted the sexes together, as well as having defined marriage as that of being between one man and one woman, and anything in opposition to the will of God is SIN.  Same-sex marriages or unions, the Righteous Judge has already revealed and declared as "UNCONSTITUTIONAL" by His standards and as outlined in The Consitution of His Word, The Holy Bible (See Genesis 1:27, 2:18, 22-24; Leviticus 18:22, 20:13; Matthew 19:4-6; Romans 1:26-27 to name just a few).

Jesus Words About Marriage

Jesus tells us that Marriage between a man and woman is a holy union instituted and established by God.  He said in Matthew 19:5-6 that when a man and woman come before God in matrimony that they are no longer two, but are joined together as one flesh.  He quoted from Genesis 2:24, and He used the word "cleave" which means to join fast, cement, or glue

Marriage is a sacred bond that is not to be taken lightly, or interfered with in any way, by any person, including the President or Judges of the Courts.  In fact, Jesus emphasized the sanctity of marriage, saying, "therefore what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder (i.e. divide or separate)."  However, most people in our society today no longer view marriage as sacred.  Many couples are entering into loveless marriages which only seal their fate for failure.  Others are forsaking their marriage vows by engaging in adulterous relationships and affairs.

Furthermore, Courts and judges in some countries are now passing legislation permitting "same sex marriages" which further makes a mockery out of this holy institution, and only to this world's detriment and destruction.  Thus, this is where a law known as DOMA came into play back in 1996.  DOMA defines marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman for purposes of all federal laws, and provides that states need not recognize a marriage from another state if it is between persons of the same sex. So the purpose of DOMA has been to protect and defend traditional or biblical marriage which is the only union decreed and outlined by the Laws of God, as ACCEPTABLE or PERMISSIBLE.

Jesus said in Matthew 19:4 the following, "Have you NOT read , that he which made them in the beginning made them male and female."  Paul, in a letter to believers at the Church of Rome, urged them to avoid engaging in behavior similiar the heathen and unsaved, saying in Romans 1:26-28, 32 the following, "This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural; and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burned with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appopriate to their perversion."  In other words, since they have not considered God worth knowing, God has given them up to worthless ways of thinking; so that they do improper things." CJB

Remember, God created marriage to be a union between a man and a woman.  For God's Holy Name will never figure into the equation of "same-sex unions", "loveless marriages", or "adulterous affairs."

DOMA: The Origin of Canonical and Traditional Marriage

The very origin of marriage began with the first created couple known as ADAM and EVE.  Furthermore, the holy institution of their marriage was performed by the Creator God Himself.  He was the Father of the Bride (i.e. Eve) who brought her and gave her away to Adam, and God stood beside him as Best Man too.

God saw after creating man, that he needed a like or similar companion.  Genesis 2:18 says that the Divine Trinity said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet (i.e. suitable) for him." And, the Word of God says that even the created animals of every kind could NOT satisfy or meet this requirement (see Genesis 2:20).

So what did the Lord do?  He caused Adam to go into a deep sleep.  So while Adam was sedated so to speak, and in a deep REM sleep, the LORD took a rib from the man and formed what Adam himself identified and referred to as Wo-man (see Genesis 2:21-22).  See even he recognized that she was a vital and necessary PART of him, proclaiming "this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."

The divine ordination of marriage act as declared by God surrounding this most sacred and holy institution as listed in the Covenant designed only between male and female unions is GENESIS 2 VERSE 24: Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his WIFE: and they shall be one flesh. For it apparent that even in our created and gendered bodies, that the obvious complement of a man is that of the woman's and vice versa.  This is the only natural and normal process by God which allows for procreation and the bringing forth and continuance of children, offspring, and future generations.  And the Word of the Lord says there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this!
